Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival 2026 to Feature 340 Booths and Gourmet Month
Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival 2026 returns from 29 October to 1 November with over 340 booths, rare drinks, acclaimed chefs and new culinary experiences, followed by Hong Kong Gourmet Month and exclusive dining offers in November.
The festival's attractions will extend beyond its four-day schedule. To sustain the festive momentum, attract more visitors and encourage tourism spending, HKTB will introduce “Hong Kong Gourmet Month” throughout November, alongside exclusive offers for festival ticket holders.
Dr Peter Lam, Chairman of HKTB, expressed his gratitude to lead sponsor American Express, as well as EcoCeres, Cathay and all sponsors, partners, exhibitors and members of the food and beverage industry. He also acknowledged Henderson Land Development and Maxim’s Group for their support in building the internationally renowned event.
“This year, in addition to presenting the strongest-ever line-up for the Festival, HKTB will launch ‘Hong Kong Gourmet Month’ in November,” Dr Lam said. He added that a series of drinking and dining experiences would run from late October throughout November, offering locals and visitors world-class drinks, highly rated cuisine, distinctive “Only in Hong Kong” culinary creations and limited-time experiences.
Through these initiatives, HKTB aims to encourage visitors to stay longer and spend more, creating additional business opportunities for the trade.
Expanded Festival Brings Together More Than 340 Booths
This year's festival will feature more than 340 booths, an increase of over 10% from last year, with the event footprint extending into Tamar Park. Food and drinks from around 31 countries and regions will be showcased, with pavilions from several destinations, including Australia, Canada and South Korea, making their debut.
Visitors will be able to explore rare drinks from internationally recognised regions, alongside culinary creations by international celebrity chefs, award-winning restaurants and star-rated hotels. The event will also introduce limited-edition guided tours and expert-led tasting experiences for the first time, helping visitors understand beverage characteristics and food pairings.
The festival will extend its opening hours until 1 am on Friday, 30 October, allowing visitors additional time to experience its food and drink offerings.
Grand Wine Pavilion Showcases Rare and Prestigious Drinks
The Grand Wine Pavilion will bring together rare and prestigious drinks from leading wine regions, offering visitors an opportunity to explore distinctive flavours and characteristics. Burgundy will be among the featured regions, with a selection of rare and sought-after wines, including a highly coveted offering prized by collectors.
Visitors will be able to explore the distinctive terroirs of Burgundy and another of France's most revered regions in one location. The pavilion will also feature exceptional labels from Spain, Italy, Chile and other renowned regions, including collector-grade drinks and rare large-format bottles.
Michelin-Starred Restaurants and Luxury Hotels Lead Gourmet Offerings
The AMEX GOURMET CLUB, sponsored by American Express, will bring together Michelin-starred, Black Pearl-awarded and other acclaimed dining establishments. Collectively, the participating establishments account for 15 Michelin stars and five Black Pearl Diamonds.
The club will allow visitors to sample signature dishes from several celebrated restaurants at one location along Victoria Harbour.
The festival's Hotel Boulevard will bring together 26 prestigious hotels at the Central Harbourfront, each presenting signature dishes and limited-edition culinary offerings. Highlights include Hong Kong-style satay from Kowloon Shangri-La and signature Pandan Cake with Coconut Ice Cream from The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong.
Marriott Bonvoy will also bring together 14 of its Hong Kong hotels for its largest-ever presence at the festival. Celebrity chefs and mixologists will collaborate on artisanal dishes, limited-edition cocktails and dining experiences inspired by Hong Kong's diverse food culture.
The Tasting Room will introduce a limited-edition collaborative banquet under the theme “Taste of Time”. Five leading chefs from Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland and overseas will jointly present a 10-hand dining experience, using a multi-course menu to explore stories of time and taste.
Other featured experiences will include “CHOI. x VOON”, a four-hand collaborative lunch featuring Culinary Class Wars star chef Choi Hyun-seok and acclaimed Singaporean chef Edward Voon. The programme will also include the “Cheesy & Cheers” brunch and the “Eat & Beat HK Remix” party.
Local Culinary Creations Bring New Takes on Hong Kong Flavours
The festival will introduce a range of distinctive “Only in Hong Kong” creations that reinterpret traditional local flavours through contemporary culinary techniques and unexpected combinations.
One highlight is a Black Sesame Soy Milk Pudding Tart, combining traditional soy milk with modern dessert-making techniques. The creation brings together familiar local ingredients and contemporary presentation.
Other limited-edition offerings will include Popping Salted Lemon 7-Up cocktails in four fruity flavours, featuring popping candy; Bella Spritz, topped with milk foam dusted with salted fish powder; handcrafted chocolates; and Golden Lemon with Coriander Craft Sake.
Henderson Land Development and Maxim’s Group will also mark their 50th and 70th anniversaries, respectively, on the international festival platform. The two Hong Kong-based groups will bring together subsidiary and partner dining brands to present limited-edition anniversary gourmet treats, showcasing their stories of growing alongside the city and the continuing relationship between culinary heritage and innovation.
Three Guided Walk Tours and More Than 20 Tasting Sessions
For the first time, the festival will introduce guided walking tours featuring three themed routes designed to explore drinks and food pairings.
“Route 1: The Cabernet Empire: A Global Journey” will take participants through Bordeaux in France, Chile and Shangri-La in China. Paired with richly flavoured meat delicacies, the experience will demonstrate how the same grape variety develops different characteristics across terroirs.
“Route 2: The Heritage Legends: Classic Terroirs” will focus on Châteauneuf-du-Pape in France, Brunello di Montalcino in Tuscany, Italy, and Germany. Participants will sample the drinks alongside distinctive Hong Kong-style savoury bites.
“Route 3: Beyond the Rules – An Unexpected Gastronomy Pairing Tour” will challenge conventional pairing approaches by combining beverages with creative Hong Kong-style snacks. Participants will be able to learn pairing techniques while discovering unexpected flavour combinations. Interested visitors can register on-site at the designated Wine Walk Booth.
More than 20 masterclasses and expert tasting sessions will also be held during the festival. Experts and industry representatives will discuss regional characteristics, aromas, palate, techniques and wine styles, sharing insights and stories about the featured drinks.
The sessions will cater to beginners seeking an introduction to tasting as well as experienced enthusiasts interested in distinctive labels and innovative pairings. Visitors can register on-site at the Grand Wine Pavilion.
Sunset Parties to Feature Limited-Edition Drinks
The festival will host Sunset Party sessions at 5:45 pm on 29 and 30 October, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy the Victoria Harbour panorama while sampling limited-edition drinks.
Festival-goers can register on-site and gather at the Main Stage for complimentary tastings during sunset, exchanging tasting notes and insights with fellow food and drink enthusiasts.
For visitors seeking non-alcoholic options, the Coffee Village in Tamar Park, near the Admiralty entrance, will offer specialty coffees and other distinctive beverages.
Festival Introduces Used Cooking Oil Recycling Initiative
The 2026 festival will also introduce a sustainability initiative in partnership with EcoCeres, a renewable fuels technology company incubated in Hong Kong and the world's second-largest sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) producer.
Under the “From Plate to Plane” concept, used cooking oil will be collected on-site for the first time during the festival and converted into sustainable aviation fuel. The initiative will give participants an opportunity to learn about and take part in food-resource recycling while enjoying the event.
Hong Kong Gourmet Month to Extend Dining Experiences Through November
Immediately after the festival, HKTB will launch Hong Kong Gourmet Month in partnership with restaurants and bars across the city. Throughout November, participating venues will offer limited-edition gourmet dishes, distinctive dining experiences and discounts.
The initiative is designed to attract visitors and encourage spending across Hong Kong's food and beverage sector. Festival-goers will also be able to present their ticket stubs to access exclusive offers at selected restaurants, retailers and business associations, including special privileges provided by the T-Central Strategic Development Association.
HKTB will additionally launch a Hong Kong Late-Night Dining Guide highlighting the city's after-dark dining destinations. The guide will help visitors explore Hong Kong's food and drink scene throughout the day and night, supporting the board's objective of encouraging longer stays and increased tourism spending.
